Stop the illegal puppy trade

Tens of thousands of puppies are annually born in so-called puppy farms all over Europe. The conditions are terrible; the mother animals are forced to give birth to litter after litter without receiving any signs of affection or care . The usually sick puppies are separated from their traumatized mothers far too young and will stay in cramped iron cages or small pens. Separated from their mothers and without any love or affection, they often remain unsocial and develop illnesses that are left untreated. The puppies remain in these horrible conditions until they are shipped to their sellers and cleaned up for the unsuspicious customers.

What do we do ?

FOUR PAWS provides information about this illegal puppy trade so that consumers know what to look out for when they want to buy a new dog.
With our undercover investigations, we influence policy so that governments are forced to better regulate the puppy trade and we expose unscrupulous and illegal traders and breeders.

What can you do?

Your donations can help us fight these illegal and highly immoral practices. With your support we can fund (undercover) investigations, provide information and influence policy to stop the gruesome puppy trade.
