#SaddestBears

Our (long-term) initiative revolves around rescuing bears who are suffering from abuse, mistreatment and captivity. Far too often do we see cases such as the bile bears in Vietnam and the caged bears in Southeast Europe where the bears are mercilessly exploited and abused for atrocious purposes. Stories of bears such as Suzanne and Bruno’s truly show the horrors of the lengthy abuse and the living conditions which the bears have to live through before being rescued. Another example of such vile abuse is the exploitation of bears for the tourist industry, only as recent as last year, we were able to rescue Dasha and Lelya from being used as a tourist attraction in hotels and restaurants.

We at FOUR PAWS are determined to make a difference for the countless of bears suffering around the globe. Our campaign has already rescued numerous of bears such as Ben, who suffered decades of abuse whilst living in tiny, rusty cages, and have now found peace and freedom in our BEAR SANCTUARY Ninh Binh in Vietnam. which is one of our five own sanctuaries.

We run two further sanctuaries in cooperation with partners, the Arosa Bear Sanctuary in Switzerland and the DANCING BEARS PARK Belitsa in Bulgaria, which are established for saving bears who were mistreated, neglected and trained to dance for human entertainment.

Your support ensures that we can make a difference together and be a ray of hope for the many bears who are still suffering around the globe. Our sanctuaries in Europe and Vietnam offer the rescued bears an environment where they can fully act out on their natural instincts, as well as the care and support they so desperately need after years of abuse and exploitation.

Please consider a donation to be a part of our mission to end the needless and cruel abuse of bears around the globe.
