Support the Al Ma'wa project
Al Ma'wa for Nature and Wildlife
Founded in 2011, Al Ma'wa for Nature and Wildlife is a safe haven for animals rescued from crisis areas, irresponsible private ownership or zoos. In cooperation with the Princess Alia Foundation, we can care for those animals that need us most in the Middle East.
In the conflict-ridden areas of the Middle East, the lack of order, resources and people power makes captive wild animals especially vulnerable. Trapped in their cages, they are completely dependent on their carers and have nowhere to hide.
Others are confiscated from irresponsible owners or traders who abuse and neglect them.
Al Ma'wa means shelter in Arabic, and for the rescued animals, it is just that. The Al Ma'wa for Nature and Wildlife cooperation therefore cares for these animals when their owner can't or won't look after them anymore.
Your support can help these animals recover from their ordeals. After years of fear and neglects, they can finally come to rest and look towards the future. Support their new lives and help them regain hope.
